Shirley Dukart received the Realtor of the Year award in 2003 and 2007 from the Badlands Board of Realtors. In 2007, she received the North Dakota State Realtor Of The Year award. I started selling real estate in 1981. Shirley received her Broker license in 2005. Shirley is currently licensed in North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana. She specializes in residential, commercial, land, ranches, recreation, and lots.
 

In 2003, Doris Hoff, Diane Duchscher, and Shirley Dukart established Home and Land Company. Diane and Shirley are now the owners. Home and Land Company initially started with five agents and currently has 16.
 

Shirley is the past president of the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce, the Dickinson Rotary Club, and the Minneapolis Telephone Pioneers of America. She is a past board member of the DSU Heritage Foundation. Shirley retired from QWEST Communications in 1996 with 33 years of service. In addition, Shirley is a Past Part Owner of Dakota Church Furniture Manufacturing from 1966-2007. She is also the past part-owner of Café Agape and the Coffee House in Medora. Shirley was on the Dickinson City Special Assessment Commission for 9 years before she was elected to the City Commission in 2008. Shirley served there for two-two year terms. She later served on the Planning And Zoning Commission from 2016 to 2022.
